About Marck Butterfly valve
Butterfly valve is a type of quarter-turn valve that opens the control and shuts off the flow of liquids and gases using a circular disc that rotates in a horizontal plane. Due to its portability and light weight, it is found in water treatment, refrigeration/heating ventilation air conditioning (HVAC), chemical processing, and food processing, among others. The typical operation of the valve is that the disc is rotated by 90 degree either to permit or to limit the flow.
They come in different categories, including wafer, lug, and double-flanged designs, due to the various requests for installation. They are quick to operate and require little work to make them functional at their optimum capacity. The design makes it possible to use them in large-diameter pipes since they possess a low pressure drop and a small space requirement. These valves are corrosion-free and are available in several types of pressures and temperatures depending on the material used. Affordable and nondirectional butterfly valves are used where the need is to shut off or modulate the flow of a fluid. This is especially true bearing in mind that their maintenance is easy and they have a long service life, which makes them very reliable investments.
